SPECIFICATIONS FOR GRADING, MASONRY, &C. ON THE NORTHERN RAILROAD.

[New Hampshire?: 1840s-50s?] 8" x 10", printed on blue paper. Old folds, light wear. Small hole near left margin [loss of a couple letters]. Good+ to Very Good. The Northern Railroad was a single track line from Concord to White River Junction, Vermont. It was 69.5 miles long, with a 13.41 mile branch line from Franklin to Bristol NH. The main line was chartered in 1844 and completed 1848. Operated independently until 1888 when it was taken over by the Boston & Maine.
