The Report is a close examination of two proposed routes, "designated as the Northern and Southern, the one crossing the Connecticut river at Springfield, the other at Northampton...The Report contains much interesting and important information, illustrated by tabular statements, in reference to the present business and occasion of travel and transportation through the country."
