Disbound. 13, [2], [1 blank] pp. Text clean. Overall, Good+. The rear wrapper is a map, entitled 'Union Pacific Railroad and Connections, Main Line'. It shows the line of the Railroad and its connections, between Chicago and Salt Lake City. The pamphlet describes the extent of construction, the high quality of the Railroad's equipment and machine shops, the Road's Connections, the mineral regions of the Rocky Mountains; the resources, climate, agriculture, settlements, and advantages of Nebraska. The Union Pacific's first mortgage bonds are explained. "Contains a Table of Distances from Omaha to Cheyenne, Denver, Salt Lake City and San Francisco," for Wells, Fargo and Company's Overland Mail and Stage Line. An 1867 Chicago printing was also issued; NUC records an 1868 with slightly different pagination, as well as this one. OCLC records only copies paginated as 12, [4] and 12, [6].
