This may be the very first Sandwich imprint. Byrd, whose bibliography ends in 1858, records none.
Reverend Grant answers his question by explaining, "Their presence is desired in Heaven. Christ wants them where he is." Henrietta was only 17 years old when she died, having come to Illinois from her place of birth in Litchfield, Connecticut. Page 13 consists of a poem, entitled 'Henrietta Liveth,' by Martha L. Kellogg. The last three pages are entitled, 'Memoranda,' comprising a biography of Miss Kilbourn, who lived and went to school in Avon and West Haven, Connecticut until July 1857, when she came to Sandwich with her family.
