Francis Taylor lived in "Round Prairie, Sangamon county, Illinois." He was the son of the Rev. Phillip W. Taylor, of Spencer County, Ky., and whose essay entitled 'A Parent's Advice to His Children' Francis caused to be republished in 1839. It comprises pages 3-4 of this offering.
