He cites Prohibition's correlation with reduced crime, more employee productivity, drunkards' reformation, and increased national wealth. Delavan claims that public sentiment favors prohibition. He quotes from Opinions of Supreme Court Justices and other learned authorities sustaining the constitutionality of prohibition.
