Lambert's first Report, included here as the second of the two documents, was originally published in 1822; of it, OCLC locates only the copy at William College. Lambert's Reports contain many astronomical and mathematical calculations, with explanatory remarks. His Supplemental Report elaborates on calculations relating to "observations on solar eclipses, and occultations of fixed stars by the moon." OCLC locates two copies.
