The Association's Officers and Directors, its Constitution, a report on the East Alabama Female College in Tuskegee, the Minutes of the Bible Society, and Committee Reports are printed. Included is the 'Report on the Religious Instruction of the Negroes,' observing that "the obligation to do this is felt by every one, moved by the love of Christ...We regard it highly desirable that they should be encouraged to attend the worship of God in connection with their owners." An unusual and scarce Alabama imprint.
