"A specimen of early printing in an interior town in the State of New York" [Sabin]. The book is an attack on Dr. Brown's Elementa Medicinae, by a supporter of Cullen. It is the first book printed in Goshen; the nine preceding Goshen imprints, beginning in 1790, and two other 1795 imprints, were broadsides or pamphlets that did not exceed 18 pages.
