This Constitution replaced that of 1776, abolishing the unicameral legislature and creating a bicameral one; enhancing the powers of its judiciary; and strengthening the office of Governor. It is Pennsylvania's first Constitution as a State under the Federal Constitution. It is one of two issues, the other with 29 pages and recorded at Evans 22759; printing priority is unknown.
