This brochure provides descriptions and illustrations of the Company's scales, including the Patent Iron Frame Railroad Track Scale which was patented in 1857 and renewed in 1871; illustrations of large scales for weighing cattle, hay, coal and warehouse items; smaller scales for use by druggists, grocers and the like; weighmaster's beams and frames; and a double lock cash drawer. A reprint of an article from the New York Tribune notes the amazement of members of the Japanese Embassy during their tour of the Fairbanks manufactory . The back page is an advertisement for Carhart & Curd, merchants in Macon, Georgia.
