A rare miniature magazine. The Civil War article calls the demoralization of young enlisted men a "greater injury than all the National and State Debts Together!" Young men, unable to separate themselves from the evils they have learned during the War, thereafter commit murder, rape and robbery against the public. The author states, "If we must have War, let it be between Soldiers who have arrived at the full stature of perfect manhood. Let no 'boys' have a chance to enlist in the Military service under any consideration whatever."
