An attractive almanac, with many full-page and in-text woodcuts and accompanying explanatory text. It includes 'An Account of Nahant', with an illustration of the Indian 'Black William Selling Nahant to Mr. Thomas Dexter, for a suit of clothes, in 1630.' A double-page woodcut is printed of a 'Disastrous Attempt to Ascend Mount Blanc.' Other illustrations, with text, are offered from all over the world: a 'View of a Chinese Floating Town', a 'Newfoundland Dog', a 'Cashmere Goat', and much else.
