AN EXPOSURE OF DR. MCMASTER'S "BRIEF INQUIRY." BY THE REV. DAVID SCOTT.

New-York: Printed by H. Bunce, 1833. 28pp. Disbound, scattered foxing. Good+.

The author denounces denounces McMaster for treating the manifest evil of Slavery as "of small account" in considering church relations. The Presbyterian Church has taken a principled stand against Slavery. Reverend Scott argues, in conformity with what he claims to be Church authority, that the Church has spoken clearly, and should not yield to those who wish "to have the testimony of the church accommodated to their lax views."
