Vignette of a farmer and machinist standing on either side of an oval frame with the letter "H" at its center; an eagle sits atop the frame with its wings spread; the letter "F" appears above the eagle's head. Nathaniel [Natt] Head (1828-1895) attended Pembroke Academy. He established a construction company focusing on railroad development. A Republican, he served in New Hampshire's House of Representatives from 1861-62, as Adjutant General from 1864-70, and in the New Hampshire State Senate from 1876-77. He ran for Governor on the Republican ticket in 1879 and won. Item #31745
