London: 1767. 46pp. Disbound, else Very Good.
Written "to make known the aggravated iniquity attending the practice of the Slave-Trade," this pamphlet contrasts the brutal hardships of the Middle Passage and West Indian slavery with the pleasant, civilized life in West Africa from which the slaves were torn. This first English edition was reprinted from the Philadelphia 1766, entitled 'A Caution and Warning to Great Britain and Her Colonies...' Ours is the first printing under this title.
