The General Order prints three Proclamations from President Johnson, acknowledging that "dangerous combinations against the laws of the United States" have been destroyed. Thus the President removes commercial restrictions, ends the blockade, and acts "to restore unrestricted commercial intercourse between and in the several States." Item #35606
