All the envelopes depict an American Flag in the left portion. Some are in the form of a shield, others adjacent to a cannon, or held by a cavalry soldier, others with the emblematic Eagle or with Lady Liberty, or held by an infantry soldier. Some are captioned, e.g., "Liberty and Union | Now and Forever | One and Inseperable" [sic], or variations on that iconic slogan; "All Hail to the Stars and Stripes;" "Our Country." Item #37302
