New York: Currier, [1856]. Hand-colored broadside lithograph, 10" x 14." "From a Photograph by Brady taken June 1856" is printed beneath Fremont's portrait. Light discoloration beneath the portrait, the "F" in Fremont lightly abraded. Else Very Good. Fremont is seated in a blue chair in front of flowing purple drapes and a yellow cord.

In June 1856 Fremont was nominated in Philadelphia as the first presidential candidate of the Republican Party.
