Lightly tanned and foxed, minor edgewear and chipping to top outer corners. Early ink signature on final blank page, "Lucinda Carrolls." Overall, Very Good.

Davis Carroll [1786-1853] was born in Thompson, Connecticut, to John Carroll and Hannah Thayer. He served as a Corporal with Lyon's 11th Regiment, Connecticut Militia, during the War of 1812 and settled in Otsego, New York, following the war.
