The November issue includes an errata list and the Contents for this Volume II. A clean text with infrequent foxing..

The General Title Page is in ink script rather than printed. 376pp. Each of the later leaves has a hole in the blank upper right corner. Occasional toned leaves. Otherwise a clean text, with the six numbers printed every two months.
The two volumes are bound in matching full sheep [rubbed], with gilt-lettered red morocco spine labels. Hinges are firm. Prior owner's bookplate on front pastedown. A complete printing of Volumes II and III. Very Good.

Published from 1805-1807. "The Union List of Serials lists no perfect set of the Magazine itself, which was published from 1805-1807, but locates vols. 2-3 at Yale" [Sabin].
Front endpapers signed by Conrad Speece, who was one of the editors. Several of his ink-notes appear in places (identifying authors, for example), and much of the contents are by him. Also with the slightly later ownership signature of William brown and gift label from Brown to Augusta Church (pastedowns.) Among the contents are interesting entries such as "The Negroes Complaint," a sympathetic portrayal of the plight of a slave; a letter from a female Cherokee Indian (Nancy Fields), and more.
