The four issues- - January, February, March, and April- - are paginated consecutively and all in original printed green or blue wrappers. Tape repair to a wrapper. Bound together. Widely scattered spotting, bit of loosening, else Very Good.

Indulging a rare editorial impulse, Sabin writes that "The first edition of No. II. was canceled and reprinted. The work died, as it deserved, at the fourth number." Lomazow says Brotherhead "modeled" it "after a British periodical of a similar name."
Contents are printed on the front wrapper of each number. Brotherhead explains that his purpose is "to establish a Bibliographical Magazine. "The articles include literary material, the book trade, Letters from Founding Fathers, the relationship between Samuel Swartwout and Aaron Burr, Macauley and other literary figures, Libraries, Shakespeareana.
