Boston: Printed by Rogers and Fowle, 1749. 31, [1 blank] pp, but lacking the half title. Disbound, scattered foxing. Title page enclosed by a mourning border. Good to Good Plus.

Thomas Foxcroft, a colleague of Chauncy and a prolific sermon-writer, "was learned, devout, and a good logician, and was admired both for his talents and for the elegance of his manners" [Appleton's]. Of his wife, Anna Foxcroft, we know little. "She married Thomas Foxcroft on 9 March 1718, in Boston, Suffolk, Massachusetts, United States. They were the parents of at least 4 sons and 7 daughters. She lived in Boston, Suffolk, Massachusetts, United States. . . She died on 9 October 1749, at the age of 53" [online Family Search article on Anna].
According to Chauncy, she was "a Woman in Christ, a real good Christian," with the admirable attributes that accompany such a person.
