This scarce document prints the official arrangements for Abraham Lincoln's Washington, D.C. funeral. The program lists participating military units; names the Senate, House, Army, and Navy participants in the procession; family, relatives, "The Delegations of the States of Illinois and Kentucky"; governmental officials from the President on down.
A printed diagram displays the hearse and pallbearers. The procession's route is described, beginning "precisely" at 2 o'clock P.M. on Wednesday, April 19th, after "conclusion of the religious services at the Executive Mansion." The procession began with the firing of guns from St. John's Church, City Hall, and the Capitol, and the ringing of church bells throughout Washington, Georgetown, and Alexandria.
